The goblin mining helmet was the solution the goblins developed to have a wearable light source while in the tunnels. The helmet is made of iron and carved with three runes. The helmet is similar to a human mining helmet except rather than emitting light from the bulb, the entire helmet glows in the dark. As with most goblin tools, there are some side effects. Goblins can't differentiate the runes for light and heat, so while the helmet is on, it will start to grow warm on the wearers head, and the goblin will be forced to remove it if their hair starts to catch fire.
